READING THE BIBLE – A BENEFIT FOR ALL AGES!
Reading during the long summer break keeps a child from losing all the progress they’ve made during the school year. Reading the Bible during the long summer break keeps a child of God close to their Savior, and helps them learn more about the Lord they know and love.
Reading during the long summer break keeps an adult’s mind sharp. Reading the Bible during the long summer break keeps an adult (also a child of God) strong in their faith, and allows them to review Bible truths and even learn some new ones along the way.
The 100 Days of Summer: A Bible Reading Plan runs from Memorial Day weekend (May 27th) through Labor Day (September 3rd). These short chapter-long Bible readings are a great way for all ages to read God’s Word (even better together) to grow in faith while keeping important reading skills in tip-top shape.
The Bible readings assigned to each of the Sundays for the 100 Days of Summer will also serve as our Sunday Bible Study at 8:30 am at church. Come and dig into God’s Word and uncover some new treasures.
