Daniel in the Lion’s Den

Daniel slept through the night because he knew God was there with him. We can sleep through the night knowing God is right there with us. We never have to be afraid to lean on God, or stand up for God.

Joseph: The Hero Who Ran Away

Genesis 39:6-23 You should know, not all heroes stick around to take on the bad guys. In today’s OT lesson we meet someone who’s a hero for running away. Let’s find out why we, as Christians, will want to be less like the Avengers and more like “Joseph: The Hero Who Ran Away.”

A Blessed Nation

Psalm 33 The Word of God on Independence Weekend focuses on the nation we proudly call “the land of the free and the home of the brave.” The psalmist tells us that a nation where the LORD is God is blessed. Let’s see if we can determine whether we are “A Blessed Nation?” The psalmist offers 2 choices: A) With God there are abundant blessings. B) Without God there’s an absence of blessings.

He can sympathize with our situation. He knows what help we need. And, he has the power to do…

Mother’s Day 2019

At times, within our own families and our own congregation, we take for granted all the things Christian moms do for their families. That’s why we need to encourage them and show them our appreciation for raising us as a child of God who follows him by faith now right into eternity.

Some Certainty in an Uncertain World

God’s Word on Confirmation Day offers you: “SOME CERTAINTY IN AN UNCERTAIN WORLD.” It tells you with absolute certainty that: 1) God chose you, cherished you and called you. So that you would want to: 2) Serve him with your every want, word and work. 2 Thessalonians 2:13-17
