Getting in Shape
January is the month that many people hope to “Get in Shape” after the holiday season of eating, more eating and then eating still more. On this last weekend of January, Jesus is going to take us, and the phrase “Getting in Shape,” in a completely different direction and to a whole new level.

Sermon Text: Luke 4:20-32 You’ve probably heard this phrase: “To every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.” This weekend at St. Paul’s it’s all about reaction! The action of crucifying Jesus produced equal and opposite reactions from the two thieves. One ridiculed Jesus, while the other asked for a spot next to him in paradise.
