This weekend our thoughts naturally go to the women in our life – mom, grandma, wife – who have impacted us with their love. One of the best ways to express love isn’t only with words, although that is valuable. It is with actions. Jesus did not simply say he loved his heavenly Father. He expressed it by obeying his Father.
Our God has placed the moms and grandmas and wives in our lives who are very good at expressing their love as well. Having experienced God’s love and their love, we are always on the hunt, searching to reflect and express our love to them and others.
Mother’s Day reminds us how our acts of love, as Christians, are really the proof that Jesus is alive and well in our lives.
