One of the Scripture Readings for this Sunday is the Baptism of Jesus. How often do you think about YOUR OWN Baptism? Every time you walk into church and see the baptismal font up front? But that font has been there for years, so maybe we don’t always notice it.

This Sunday we’ll use OUR OWN Baptism as a way to express our close connection to Jesus and each other. After all, it doesn’t matter when or where you were baptized, or who baptized you. If water was applied while the words … in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit … were spoken … that’s unity!
