We, as Christians, struggle with trials, temptations, and sin on a daily basis. But Jesus tells us blessed are the poor, the hungry, the weeping, the excluded, for they shall be exalted. There is a far better place waiting for us, the place Jesus left here to prepare for us. A place where there is no more sin, struggles, or pain. A place we long to be in someday. A place where some of our loved ones have already gone. These loved ones are the saints who, through their Christian faith, have triumphed over all these struggles.Their example encourages us as we patiently wait to join them. How do we know this? Simple…Jesus promises it to us! Great is our reward! Though we may be poor now, we look forward to being forever blessed!
