How do you feel about thunderstorms, or when a storm warning is issued? Are you scared? Would you like to run and hide? This weekend we are going to use the Apostle Paul’s reaction to a storm as a teachable moment for us when the storms of life roll in on us. Our songs and hymns will comfort us with the knowledge that our God, as “the Lover of My Soul” is “Strong to Save.” His promises also assure us that even “When sorrows like sea billows roll … It is well with my soul.” In fact, he wants us to be absolutely certain that “All is well because of God’s great love!”
