Sermon Text: Luke 20:27-38
How would you like to be part of a religion that believed there is no life after death – no resurrection? Some might say, at least you wouldn’t have to worry about frying eternally in hell. But what hope would you have for the future? What purpose would you have for this life? That’s a miserable existence if we didn’t believe in life after death, if we didn’t believe in the resurrection.
This weekend, celebrate Saints Triumphant with us at St. Paul’s as we find strength in Jesus’ promises and thank him for proving there is a resurrection and there are saints who are triumphant!
