The wisemen were looking for “the one born king of the Jews.” Did they know, “the one born” wasn’t only “king of the Jews,” but he would be the Savior of the world?” We begin the Epiphany Season of the Church Year (Epiphany is Greek and it means to reveal). During Epiphany we’ll see Jesus, the baby with flesh and blood (true man), reveal himself as Savior of all (true God) by doing things only God can do.

This Sunday we see why these men who visited the child Jesus are called “wise.” And what can make us just as “wise” as they were?
