We sometimes use the term “under fire” to describe the very challenging or difficult situations we face in life. And we may even feel like we are all alone at those times. But for the Christian, that’s never true and we have our God’s Word, his promise, on that. There’s a Christian song that beautifully explains it: “I know I will never be alone, there was another in the fire standing next to me.”
This weekend at St. Paul’s we go to the Old Testament for God’s promise. Celebrate the well-known Bible Story of three men in the fiery furnace.
