Darkness and light is one of the most prominent themes in the Bible. There is such a sharp contrast between the two. In Genesis 1:1, God created the heavens and the earth but there was still the issue of darkness. The first adjustment God made on Day One of Creation’s week was to create light and eliminate complete darkness.
When Jesus identifies himself as “The Light of World,” he’s making a bold statement about what he does to eliminate the darkness of sin and unbelief in our lives! Join us this Sunday at 9:30 am for worship.
We have a special treat at St. Paul’s this Sunday. Our VBS Singers (children from this week’s VBS) will sing a couple of the songs they learned.
